Changelog

What has shipped, newest first. Written for the people using the app, not the people building it.

  1. This website

A home for EVNTS on the web: what it is, what it does, how to get help, and the policies, in one place.

  2. Sync you can see

A Sync row in Settings shows whether the app is up to date, syncing, offline or needs attention — and lets you retry or discard a change the server refused. Profile edits made offline now queue instead of being blocked.

  3. Hosting an event, end to end

Hosts create, publish, edit, duplicate, complete and cancel events, with one organisation per host. Guests open an event's page and its location, and Home shows what is coming up.

  4. Free tickets and the checkout

Hosts add ticket tiers with limits; guests claim a free ticket in one step and see their orders. "Only a few left" is said as it is, rather than "sold out".

  5. The new shell

Icon-only tab bar, Guides as the second tab, the profile as a sheet off your avatar, and a profile header with your stats.

  6. Invitation links that work without the app

An invitation link opens the app when it is installed. Without it, the link shows the event and where to get the app — and messaging apps show a preview card.

  7. Your account, your devices

Profile, experience and projects, notification preferences, and a list of every phone signed into your account — each one can be signed out from the others. Sign-out now also clears the app's local data, so the next person on the phone starts clean.

  8. Sign in, onboarding and roles

Sign in with Apple or Google, a seven-step onboarding, and a switch between hosting and attending in Settings.

Earlier work built the foundations — the API contract, the database, the sync engine, the design system — and had no screen to show for it.
