These terms govern your use of EVNTS — the app on iPhone and Android, and this website — offered by Lumo Autonomous LTD, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
The beta
EVNTS is in private beta. It is offered as it is: features change, things break, and we may reset the beta environment, in which case accounts and events created during the beta may not carry over. We will say so in advance where we can. Do not rely on the beta for an event you cannot afford to run without it.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google and are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your phone's own lock on. If a device you no longer control is signed in, end its session from Settings → Devices. You must be 16 or older.
Hosting
If you host an event you are responsible for it: for what the invitation says, for who you admit, for complying with the law where it takes place, and for any promise you make to guests. EVNTS gives you the tools — invitations, tickets, the door — and does not run your event.
Tickets are free during the beta. When paid tickets launch, terms covering fees, refunds and payouts will be published here before the first one is sold, and cancelling an event will continue to refund every paid order.
What you may not do
- Use an invitation you were not sent, or share one in a way its host would not want.
- Impersonate a person or an organisation, or post content that is unlawful, harassing or harmful.
- Probe, scrape or overload the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
- Resell or transfer a ticket unless the host allows it.
Content you post stays yours; you give us the licence needed to show it to the people you share it with. We may remove content or end an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
Our limits
We do our best to keep EVNTS available and correct, and we make no guarantee that it always will be. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses arising from an event you host or attend. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We can end or suspend an account for breaking these terms, and will say so.
Changes and law
When these terms change, the date above changes and a change that matters is announced in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of the place where Lumo Autonomous LTD is registered.
