In the app
- Open your profile and tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. On Android, tap Delete Account again on the page that opens.
- Type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete.
If you change your mind
Deletion is scheduled, not immediate: you have 14 days to stop it. Sign in during that time and the app shows that deletion is scheduled, with a way to keep the account. After 14 days it cannot be undone.
What happens after the 14 days
- Deleted: your profile, your sign-in, your devices and sessions, your registrations and your answers to organisers' forms, your connections and your notifications. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the access Apple gave us.
- Photos you uploaded are removed from storage within 30 days after that.
- Kept, without your name: records that other people or the law depend on. Orders and payment records are kept for 7 years because tax law requires it, and an event's numbers still add up, so a seat you took is still counted. None of these records says who you were.
- Backups: deleted data remains in encrypted backups for up to 35 days before it is overwritten.
Your account data is gone within 90 days of your request.
Without the app
Email nicholas@getevnts.com from the address your account uses, and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request comes from you, then carry it out within 30 days.
Organisers
An organiser whose event you registered for holds their own guest list, as What we collect explains. Deleting your EVNTS account deletes your registrations from EVNTS. If you want an organiser to delete something they hold themselves, ask them directly, and tell us if you cannot reach them.
